Saga KTM is far from being completed, but there have been significant events in recent days. Stefan Pierer, a long -term motorcycle leader, has left his general post. He was headed by a company with Gottfried Neumeister, who was appointed Co-PDG last September, just after the company’s financial situation was revealed.
This worrying situation continued to deteriorate. Employees have been waiting for their wages for several months, some suppliers claim that after unpaid invoices go bankrupt and representatives of trade unions criticize the behavior of KTM. Although the triumphant return to Dakar took place with the victory of Daniel Sanders, the other racial programs remain uncertain. MotoGP organizers claim that the competition will continue for several more seasons, but if the financial decision escapes racing managers, the future could darken.
Now the market players are becoming interested in the company and seek to get stocks. KTM has already sold its majority participation in the MV Agusta and it seems that Pierer will soon lose financial control of the company. Although he is no longer the CEO, his influence could take until the action is sold to the new buyer and that the Neumeister is not replaced.

About Gottfried Neumeister
After studying international affairs at the University of Vienna, Gottfried Neumeister worked as a consultant in Siemens Ag Austria. In 2003, Flyniki cooperated with Niki Lauda and was responsible for the successful development of the airlines (until sale to Air Berlin). In 2012, Mr. Neumeister joined the & CO Aktiengellschaft, where he held various positions within the lead, recently (2021-2023) as Co-PDG. Gottfried Neumeister has been a co -founder of Pierrer Mobility AG and KTM AG since September 1, 2024. Since January 1, 2025 he is also a member of the Board of Directors of Pierer Industry AG.
